Someone got a hair cut

Someone got a hair cut, originally uploaded by misspudding.

Anthony kept telling us that he didn't want his hair cut, but we finally did it this weekend. He was looking awfully shaggy before!

Here's the evidence:

Happy Friday

Pain in the butt, originally uploaded by misspudding.

Anthony just felt like saying hi. Oh, and he never wants to get dressed in the mornings, so he's stalling, too.

Okay, bye!

No tulips, but we had fun

We decided to go to Seattle again this weekend (I think this is becoming our weekly/biweekly routine), while Larry went shooting.

Anthony and I went all over the place: Gas Works Park, Volunteer Park, and a coffee shop (the kind with donuts).

Kitties update

I don't have anything exciting to say about Anthony this week, except that we will probably be going to see the tulips tomorrow while Larry goes shooting with his buddy, Albert.

I do, however, have a very funny video of Miss Catherine and Moose, our two cats, acting very typically like them. See, a friend of mine sent a link of an NPR piece, which featured a solo triangle performer who just released a 55 minute album. (Excessive? Perhaps.) The funny part about this video is that when the music starts, Miss Catherine just freaks out. She can't figure out if some cat or person is screaming in the street or making noise. The music completely bothers her. Moose, on the other hand? Well, you'll have to watch the almost two minute video to find out. :)

Happy Easter!

Happy, originally uploaded by misspudding.

Anthony found all of the candy that the Easter bunny left for us.

Anthony had chocolate for breakfast and lunch, and then decided that some real food sounded good for dinner.

The pajamas that Anthony is wearing in this picture haven't been worn since it started getting really cold at night (around November or December). We put them on him again for the first time last night, and he was a good few inches taller! Hard to believe kids grow so fast but it's little tidbits like changing the wardrobe when the weather gets nice that allows us to see these changes.

Happy Easter!

More photos are up, this time of film from the same trip mentioned in the last blog post.

Happy Good Friday to everyone!

Anthony's adventures

Anthony, originally uploaded by misspudding.

We went and did a lot of stuff today while Larry went and hung out with the boys.

Anthony's getting pretty good with the camera. Watch out, people.

Birthday party

On the donut, originally uploaded by misspudding.

Today, Anthony got to go to a birthday party of one his good friends from preschool. This little boy's mom was nice enough to have the party at a place which teaches young kids gymnastics. The place, called The Little Gym, caters to kids, seemingly as little as young as one year old, encouraging body movement and self-confidence.

As you can see, it was great fun. There was a ton of padding, and spotters for the activities that were a little more dangerous than just running and tumbling.

Saturday afternoons don't get much better than this.

Anthony enjoying the sun

Konica test, originally uploaded by misspudding.

He wanted to ride his bike on Sunday, and the weather was really nice (though windy).

The weekend was really nice, but now it's snowing. This has been a very long winter, and it's really taken it's toll on the plants. They started blooming a few weeks ago and I think this is the second round of really cold temps since then. I'm sure a lot of them will make it, but it's probably pretty rough on them.

As for the picture, I picked up a cheap ($4.99) old Konica camera at the thrift store: Konica C35 Automatic. This particular model came out sometime after 1971. I wanted to check it out, so I threw in a roll of really cheap film (Fuji 200 speed) and went to work. This was the result...I think I'll keep it!

Happy Spring! We hope you guys are all finally warming up and seeing some pretty flowers.
