Spring!

It's been raining here for a while now (this is the Pacific Northwest), it's really starting to feel like spring!

The flowers are blooming and the birds that usually leave for the winter are back making their beautiful music!

And Anthony just got his very first pair of rain boots yesterday! We went to lunch and I had to grab this camera shot of him with his brand new, bright red boots, right next to the flowers!

Here's to renewal! Happy springtime, everyone! :)

Anthony and I went in search of food while Larry "bonded with his man friends" at his shooting match today.

We ran down to Ballard, which is where the big marina and the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks are at, and partook in some cupcakes! With frosting!

As you can see, we had a lot of fun. But it was really wacky weather today and we lucked out with some sunshine mixed in with the pelting rain.

Now we're trying to warm up again inside. Anthony's watching movies and we're relaxing.

Anthony and Larry and I all went to the relatively new (I think it opened up back in 2007) Future of Flight Airplane Museum and Boeing Tour Center.

We had fun seeing the displays and the information, but it was less of a museum than the Museum of Flight down in Federal Way. We're also members at the MOF, so we thought we could get in free to the Future of Flight, since they are both operated by Boeing. Nope, apparently, that's not the case.

I think the next time we go, we'll do it with visiting family or friends, or we'll wait until Anthony's tall enough to go on the Boeing Plant tour. As a stand alone museum, it's not really worth it.

Anthony's favorite part was the 727 cockpit. It was real. And he really liked sitting in the pilot's seat. :)

There's not much new to report. We had snow today, even though last week the bulbs and heather were all coming up and sprouting pretty flowers.

Like they say, March comes in like a lion...

Anthony and I went to Seattle and ran around. It rained but at least we got one kind of nice picture of the Space Needle.

Spring isn't here yet, so the rain is still pouring this time of year. It's still fun to get out and run around.
