Arlington Air Show and Fly-In (part 2)

After we saw the B-17, everything else was a bonus! I can't possibly identify every aircraft or vehicle that was saw, so I'll just post the photos here.

Arlington Air Show and Fly-In (part 1)

Every year, one of the biggest air shows in the country is held at the Arlington, Washington airport. (More information is available here: http://www.arlingtonflyin.org). It's a lot of fun, there are a ton of cool airplanes and old military vehicles, and there's a fantastic airshow.

The first thing we saw when we went, was the B-17. Most of you probably know this, but my mom's dad (my grandfather), Russell Ayers, was a B-17 pilot during World War II. So whenever we get to see one of these great old planes, it's always a treat.

Anthony and I got to tour it and it was really neat!

On their third day here in town, we went kayaking!

Bear with me on these photos. This was the only way I was willing to take photos on our trip...with a three dollar thrift store camera. That way, if it fell into the lake, it was only three dollars lost! And if it didn't fall into the lake, we might get barely decent photos.

We made it out alive, as did the camera. You can judge whether or not you think the photos were barely decent. We still had fun!
